X3 Production Method (X3 EN)

Production methods are used to send .jdf and print pdf directly to a hot folder. The methods are directly linked to the web product. Therefore, the software offers the possibility to distribute the data directly, depending on the product.

General

Name

Sets the name of the production method.

Select JDF template

Here you can select the template that will be used to create the JDF file.

Stores

Here you decide if the production methods is only visible for a specific store view within the data center.

Configure JDF Transfer

Allow transfer

Here you decide whether the corresponding file should be transferred or not.

Transfer type

Decide whether the file should be transferred via FTP, FTPS or SFTP.

Variables

Here you will find a list of existing variables that can be included in the file name.

Remote FileName

Here you set how a file should be named on the target system.

Host

Host of the target server.

Port

Open port that should be used for this production method.

User

User name for target server.

Password

Password for target server.

Hotfolder Destination

Hotfolder destination where the .jdf file should be saved.
