X2 Template Mapping
A Template Mapping assigns a personalization template to a specific product configuration. In this way, for a product that the customer configures as in the frontend, you can additionally provide different personalization options depending on the selected configuration. For example, if the customer decides on a specific format for a flyer in the matrix selection, a personalization template can be assigned to this format.
To do this, switch to the Template Mapping menu and create a new template rule by clicking on "Create". The selection mask corresponds in view and function to the selection and prohibition lists. Once you have clearly named the template rule, assigned a code according to the known defaults, and selected a subproduct, you can now select the Page Options to which this template rule should apply. In our example, we specify that the personalization template "3-column flyer" should apply to the formats DIN A4 portrait and landscape.
